Since 1825, the Courant brand has been specialised in the manufacture of rope systems for a number of fields: tree pruners, rope workers, fire fighters, first responders, and even the military. Their ropes and PPE (personal protection equipment) are manufactured in France.

The Wichard Group expands with the acquisition of Ronstan

The Wichard Group has acquired Australian equipment manufacturer Ronstan, strengthening its leading position in the leisure marine equipment and manufacturing markets.

With the acquisition of Ronstan, the Wichard Group now has over 550 employees worldwide. This acquisition is also an excellent opportunity to strengthen the group's position in its historic markets by offering a comprehensive product range. This already included aluminium and carbon masts, sail furlers, deck fittings, safety equipment and ropes. It will now include a range of winches, tracks, blocks and other accessories.
